Gossip offer a wide range of entertainment services ranging from the ceremony in the morning to our late night music sing along. Our individual services are listed below.

Ceremony Music

Our ceremony performances consist of our female vocalist Claire being accompanied by either our pianist or our guitarist. The ceremony music is completed customised to suit what are bride and groom are looking for and the nature of the ceremony itself (catholic, civil, denomination). We usually include a mixture of religious, modern and  classical songs. The number of songs varied wedding to wedding and for most weddings a meet up to discusss ceremony songs and options is advisable.  Sample ceremony songs can be found at www.clairemalone.ie.

Arrivals Music

Some couples also like to have some pre-dinner music to entertainment their guests in advance of dinner. This helps keep guests entertained and helps keep guests together in the one room when there is some musical activity taking place. Our 3 piece instrumental performance last for 1 1/2 hours before dinner and standard time would be from 3.30pm to 5 pm (depending on the time of year). Nice and relaxed and low volume is the order of the day allowing for your guests to mingle and chat whilst still enjoying some quality music.

Reception Music

This is the main event of the evening and our 6 piece band perform all styles of music to keep your guests entertained and up dancing all night long. Gossip play for 2 1/2 hours with a short interval half way through the set. From contemporary classics to dance songs from times gone by we chose the most appropriate songs for the night. We cater to all tastes and a usual set includes some soul, rock, chart hits, 70′s dance music and some R&B. Whatever your specific music tastes we have you covered and our events are always customied to suit the individual couple and the first song is always learned specifically for the event. We will ensure your dance floor is full all night.

DJ

For DJ we work use Alan Geraghty (Alan G) from Galway to ensure maximum quality. He is one of the best DJ’s in his field and always puts on a great show. He will keep the dance floor full and entertain your guests into the small hours. If Alan is unavailable we have several other top DJ’s who we work with. Its always best to go with a professional DJ as there is nothing worse than having a great band follwed by an average dj as it brings down the crowd and slows the night down as a result.

Residents Bar Sing Along

To cap off a great night we also offer a residensts bar sing along to keep the party going into the small hours. from 2.30 – 4am we will keep your guests entertained and faciliate a good old sing along covering acoustic classics and any requests that you or your guests may have. Normally consisting of our vocalist and guitarist this can be a great way to round off a great night and we will send your guests off to bed with a bang and some sore throats!
